No Buyer's Premium EVER!

Why Buy From Our Sales

Buying a horse or cattle is an investment. In your program, your safety, your future. At Black Label Livestock, we take that seriously. Our sales are built for buyers who expect TRANSPARENCY, QUALITY, and INTEGRITY at every turn.

Manadatory Veterinary Exams

Every horse must pass a vet exam before being accepted into the sale. No shortcuts. No surprises. You get clear, honest information so you can bid with confidence.

Sound Horse - Body and Mind

We don't just accept a pretty picture. Horses in our sales must demonstrate solid structure, proven training, and the mental soundness that makes them dependable partners in and out of the arena.

A True Nomination Standard

Not every horse earns a spot in a Black Label sale. Our nomination process filters for quality, honesty, and consistency. Sellers must stand behind their horses - and we stand behind the sale.

No Buyer's Premium. Ever.

What you bid is what you pay. We don't believe in hidden fees or inflated totals. Your money goes toward the horse, not extra charges.

A Sale You can Trust

From transparent representation to a curated catalog of horses you can believe in, we’re committed to giving buyers a premium experience backed by integrity. When you buy through Black Label Livestock, you’re buying with confidence.

Are All Horse Vet-checked before the sale?

Yes. Every horse must complete a required veterinary exam before being accepted into a Black Label sale. These exams are provided by the consignor and made available to buyers so you can review soundness, health notes, and any findings before bidding.

Seller agrees to list any cosmetic blemishes that do not affect the horse’s soundness in the description of the horse. All horses selling have provided a sale exam for buyer’s veterinarian to view at least one month prior to sale day. Buyer and Seller understand and agree that Black Label Livestock LLC is not responsible to perform any inspection or to independently confirm or verify the soundness of any consignment. Buyer and seller understand and agree that Black Label Livestock LLC is unaware of the condition of seller’s horse, and therefore is relying solely upon representations made by seller regarding the condition of the horse and that the horse is sound in order to advertise and market the stated condition of the seller’s horse before and during the sale.

We expect horses to be physically capable of performing the job they’re represented for, and mentally steady enough to be safe, reliable partners. Our nomination standards prioritize correct structure, solid training, and a proven, dependable temperment.

All animals are sold AS IS, with all known and unknown faults, except only as expressly represented by the seller. Black Label Livestock LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, future performance, or long-term soundness.

Black Label Livestock LLC serves only as a marketing and auction platform and does not assume responsibility for the accuracy of seller claims.

We strongly encourage our consignors to provide clear, professional photos and videos so buyers can see the horse’s abilities and demeanor. We also welcome buyers to reach out directly to the consignor with questions, requests, or to discuss whether the horse is a good fit for their goals. Open communication helps ensure every buyer finds the right match.

Black Label Livestock highly encourages the buyer to reach out to the seller and arrange an in-person test ride.

We post our consignments well in advance to give the buyer’s the opportunity to learn as much as possible about each consignment.

Horses are sold as is, but many consignors offer their own guarantees regarding soundness, training, or representation. Any seller‑provided guarantees will be clearly stated in the horse’s listing. Buyers should review these details carefully before bidding.

Absolutely no private sales before, during, or immediately following the auction.

If you, as the buyer, would like to make an offer on a horse that did not reach the reserve. We will help coordinate!

You’ll create an account on our bidding platform, verify your information, and follow the prompts to register for the sale. Once approved, you’re ready to bid.
