Nomination Checklist – Items you will need to complete the Nomination Form YOU CAN SAVE THE FORM TO COMPLETE AT A DIFFERENT TIME! If you leave without saving you will have to start over.

Submission does NOT guarantee selection. Please fulfill all requirements of submission at the same time. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. Nominations will close on the stated deadline, or when the sale is full, whichever comes first. Black Label Livestock LLC has no duty to announce when nominations are closed.
Nomination Requirements
Consignment Fees: $250/equine or mule. Consignment Fees are nonrefundable once horse is accepted. Seller will be billed at time of acceptance and may pay via credit/debit card or check.
Paperwork: Completed nomination form, acceptance of seller’s terms and a YouTube or Google Drive link to submission video must be submitted for nomination. Payment must be made or sent within 24 hours of acceptance. Registration papers and a signed transfer must be mailed within 24 hours of acceptance. (Please send all mail with ‘signature required’ to ensure mail was received.)
Commission: All sellers will be charged 8% of the final accepted bid.
No Sale Fee: Online only sales will not have a ‘no-sale’ fee.
Required Veterinary Exam: All consignments will be required to have a recent (within 30 days) soundness exam. X-Rays are not required, but they are encouraged. Stallions selling as breeding stallion are required to provide verification of fertility with a written semen evaluation within the previous 8 months.
Required Sale Video: Due to the nature of online sales, videos are required for nominations and part of the acceptance process. A final video(s) can be submitted after acceptance to be used for promotional purposes as well as during the sale. All videos will be submitted via a Facebook, YouTube or Google Drive link.
Seller agrees to list any cosmetic blemishes that do not affect the horse’s soundness in the description of the horse. All horses selling have provided a sale exam for buyer’s veterinarian to view at least one month prior to sale day. Buyer and Seller understand and agree that Black Label Livestock LLC is not responsible to perform any inspection or to independently confirm or verify the soundness of any consignment. Buyer and seller understand and agree that Black Label Livestock LLC is unaware of the condition of seller’s horse, and therefore is relying solely upon representations made by seller regarding the condition of the horse and that the horse is sound in order to advertise and market the stated condition of the seller’s horse before and during the sale.
All animals are sold AS IS, with all known and unknown faults, except only as expressly represented by the seller. Black Label Livestock LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, future performance, or long-term soundness.
Black Label Livestock LLC serves only as a marketing and auction platform and does not assume responsibility for the accuracy of seller claims.
All persons attending, consigning, bidding, or participating in a Black Label Livestock LLC event do so at their own risk. Black Label Livestock LLC, its owners, agents, employees, affiliates, contractors, hosts, and facility partners shall not be liable for any accident, injury, illness, death, theft, loss, or damage to persons, horses, vehicles, trailers, tack, equipment, or property before, during, or after the sale.
Seller affirms that all photos, videos, and media submitted for advertising are either owned by the seller or used with full permission. Seller grants Black Label Livestock LLC the right to use submitted content for sale promotion, advertising, website use, social media, and related marketing materials for the life of Black Label Livestock LLC.
ONLINE ONLY/ANIMALS NOT AT SALE LOCATION: Buyers are required to contact the seller and make shipping arrangements with 48 hours of the completion of the sale.
IN-PERSON/ANIMALS AT SALE LOCATION: Buyers are required to arrange same day transport, or make arrangements with the seller. Seller will ensure the animal has feed and water for at least that evening.
Sellers/owners/agents understand that if buyer does not make payment to Black Label Livestock LLC, it is not obligated to pay the consignor.
All checks for online sales will be written within 4 business days of sale date and made payable to the owner listed. Options for direct deposit or bank wire will be available. Additional fees may apply.
All checks for in-person sales will be printed after payment from the buyer is received (same day of the sale when possible).
Absolutely no private sales before, during, or immediately following the auction.
